Our research team is dedicated to analysing food systems
and highlighting transition pathways
Research and strategic analysis
Our research topics are structured around three axes :

Production systems

Food value chains

Transition pathways
Our approach departs from four observations :
Multidimensionality, because environmental, social and economic aspects are strongly interwoven in the agriculture sector
Interdisciplinary, because various methodologies are required for analysing and addressing the complex nature of food systems transitions.
Participatory approaches, because diverse experiential knowledge produce results grounded in the realities of farm and food systems
Multiple scales, because different interconnected spatial and temporal dimensions come into play in transition dynamics and economic policies
