Member of Sytra's team
Agroecologist (ULiège and ULB) and holder of a master’s degree in theoretical physics (ULB), Noé conducted a PhD in Agricultural Sciences in the Sytra team, funded by the Province of Luxembourg, and under the supervision of Pr. Philippe Baret and Pr. Yannick Agnan. His thesis focused on three operational tools for the reduction of pesticide use and pesticide negative impacts on the environment and human health. Since October 2025, Noé works as a research assistant in the Sytra team.
In Sytra
The current work of Noé in Sytra mainly involves (1) the evaluation of the Green Architecture of the CAP (AECM, eco-schemes, Natura2000) at the Walloon regional level, and (2) developing of a Harmonised Pesticide Load Indicator (HPLI) for public policy assessment the toxicity of pesticides to various non-target organisms, as well as their persistence and transfers in the environment. He also participates in the development of IT tools and database management for the team in various research projects.
