How diverse are the forms of conservation agriculture (CA) in Wallonia? Do these different forms of CA have the same potential impact on soil quality, and do they follow the same transition processes?

The attached document briefly describes Manon Ferdinand’s PhD thesis. The thesis relies on four main objectives:
- Develop and propose an operational definition of CA;
- Propose a method for categorizing the diversity of CA practices in a given territory;
- Evaluate the impact of different CA-types on soil quality;
- Analyze and compare the transition processes as well as the pathways of CA-types.
